FCA's first trip to camp Living Stones! We had a fantastic time together. Many students took part in the "Leap of Faith" exercise and everyone participated in the rock maze! We had an incredible lunch and spent the rest of the day playing group games. Thank you to Camp Living Stones for hosting us and to all of those who supported the funds for our trip!

Last week, our students proudly represented EKB at the Academic Olympics at TWU! Awards night for this event will be Tuesday, May 13th @ 6:00pm in the MCHS gym. We are so proud of their hard work and dedication!

Thank you for everything you do for E.K. Baker!

We are so proud of Bailee Chupp and Braylin Gonzalez from 8th grade! These two have worked extremely hard in both academics and wrestling. They both received awards and recognition at their recent wrestling banquet. We know they will continue to represent MCHS well next year as they continue to thrive in their academic and wrestling careers as high schoolers!

8th Grade Friendship Group took a trip to the Waffle House for breakfast! These students have consistently attended a lunch group this year that encourages friendship and life skills. We will miss this group next year as they continue on to high school!

5th grade created posters on the topic, "How to Be an Effective Leader of Social Change." They researched different influential leaders and listed their leadership qualities. We are encouraged to see many of these in our students, and we look forward to seeing how they make a change!

5th Grade had a fabulous field trip last week. Thank you High Point for a great climbing experience!

2nd Grade worked hard planting flower seeds yesterday!
